The Southern Crescent Pearls Foundation, Incorporated (SCPF) is proud to announce that our 2025 scholarship season is now OPEN! We are offering scholarships to graduating female and male high school students who demonstrate outstanding scholastic achievement and strong ethical standards.

In 2024, SCPF awarded over $25,000 to deserving students from Henry and Clayton counties, and we are excited to continue supporting the bright futures of local students.

- Open to high school seniors in Henry and Clayton counties
- Must exhibit strong academic performance and ethical leadership

Selection Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a high school senior attending school or residing in Henry or Clayton County, Georgia
- Be a U.S. citizen and have permanent residence in the United States.
- Plan to enroll full-time, in undergraduate studies at an accredited two or four-year college, university or vocational school based in the United States (excluding proprietary and online schools).
- Have at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent.
- Be able to provide an official copy of their high school transcript.
Application Items
All applications must submit the following:
- Completed Application
- Resume that includes:
- Academic Achievements
- Awards and Recognition(s)
- School and Community activities
- Leadership positions held
- 500–750 essay for the scholarship you are applying for.
- Submit Two reference letters (1) from a guidance counselor or teacher (on school letterhead), and (1) from a community member that includes contact information. Recommendations must be uploaded to: (https://forms.gle/HCw1uhRJN7rBx4wX9) by March 31, 2025.
- Transcripts-
- Request the registrar to send it to scholarships@scpfinc.org) or an official transcript must be postmarked by March 31, 2025, please send it to: SCPF, Inc. Scholarship Committee P.O. Box 1826, Stockbridge, GA 30281. Official transcripts must reflect the most recent coursework completed in December of 2024.
Those applicants with the highest scoring applications will be interviewed by a panel and based on the panelist decisions, one applicant will be chosen. The highest scoring applicants will interview virtually on Saturday, April 12, 2025. There will be an award ceremony on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
Important Note: Applicants will be evaluated based on academic achievement, school activities, community service, and essay(s). The status of scholarship applications will be available to all applicants by Saturday, April 5, 2025. (Incomplete applications will not be considered.)
